Inspired by Australia’s rich birdlife, this illustrated collection explores the colour, movement, and distinct personalities of native feathered species through hand-painted observational illustration.

The series brings together 30 Australian birds, each carefully nurtured on the page using pencil, watercolour, and the occasional gumnut and banksia flower along the way. Over time, these studies evolved into a vibrant illustrated aviary – each bird developing its own unique personality and presence.

Together, the collection celebrates Australia’s native wildlife through colour, character, and storytelling, designed to bring a sense of nature and playful connection into interior spaces.
