Sheryl Cole is an illustrator, artist and creative director whose work bridges expressive hand-painted illustration with thoughtful commercial design.

With over 20 years’ experience across advertising, design and creative direction, she creates nature-inspired artwork and surface pattern collections for brands, products and spaces across lifestyle, wellness and publishing industries.

Working primarily with watercolour, gouache, ink and pencil, Sheryl’s practice is inspired by native flora, birds and the restorative beauty of the natural world. Her process combines traditional mark-making with digital composition, creating visual collections that feel both playful and refined while remaining adaptable across branding, packaging and product applications.

Her work has been commissioned, exhibited and featured world-wide across publishing, wellness, lifestyle and design spaces, with selected collaborations including Une Piece, Bank Australia, Australian House & Garden, New Farm Confectionery, BioCup, Keep Victoria Beautiful, Hinkler Books and Illustrators Australia.

At the heart of everything she creates is a desire to bring more beauty, curiosity and connection into the everyday – creating artwork that feels thoughtful, immersive and deeply inspired by the natural world.
